The clients risk profile is used for populating information on their report, whereas the portfolio risk profile will impact the percentage allocations used in models.
Setup a new Risk Profile
1. To add new risk profiles you will need access to Fastrak Setup, if you do not have Setup access, please ask the person who manages Fastrak in your firm to arrange this for you
2. Go to Setup at the top of the screen and click on the Risk Profiles tab
3. Click on the Add a profile option at the right of the screen; a new blank risk profile will be created with a temporary Title, such as Risk Profile 1
4. In the Symbol field enter a unique ID for the risk profile e.g. 01
5. In the Title field enter a unique title for the risk profile e.g. Cautious. NOTE: This ID will be referenced in areas on the your client Fastrak reports
6. In the Commentary field enter the descriptive associated with the risk profile you are setting up. NOTE: This content may be included within your client Fastrak reports
7. If this risk profile is not suitable for associating with clients, un-tick the box the left of the people symbol
8. If this risk profile is not suitable for associating with model portfolios, un-tick the box to the left of the pound sign (£) symbol
9. If you would like a colour associated with the risk profile, so that when the user selects to chose a risk for the client/product the risk is highlighted, click on the small multi-coloured box to the right then drag around the colour wheel to move to the main colour that will be the basis for your risk profile, once the main colour is selected, drag inside the colour box to choose the specific colour shade, use double-click on the specific colour to apply that colour to your risk profile.
10. Repeat steps 3 to 9 to complete setting up your risk profiles
TIP: Use the options on the right to reorder or delete risk profiles - make sure you select the risk profile first
NOTE: To edit the commentary of a risk profile, just click inside the box and edit to your requirements, as soon as you move elsewhere the changes are saved automatically
