Within the Setup area of Fastrak there are two tabs, ‘Portal Emails’ and ‘Portal Email Reminders’.

 

‘Portal Emails’ is simply an area which allows you to create and amend email templates so that they are more suited to your Corporate Style.

 

In the dropdown located at the top right-hand side of the screen you see a number of available Email templates and their function.

 

 

Select a template, e.g. User Registration as displayed below. If there is a ‘Fastrak Standard Template’ this will be displayed.

 

 

Clicking ‘Add New’ will open the existing template with the option to add a name in the ‘Reference name’ field and also amend any text in the window below. Anything that has a hashtag at either end is a merge field which will pull through from Fastrak and populate certain data.

 

Once you have made the necessary changes you can just hit Save and this will return you to the previous screen.

 

 

To use this new template, simply ensure that the ‘In use’ option is ticked. These email templates are universal and will go to all of your clients, currently there is no option to tailor different templates to specific groups of clients.

 

 

‘Portal Email Reminders’ is an area that allows you to set automated reminders to chase your clients if they have not completed a necessary action in relation to your Report Templates.

 

This functionality allows you to set the number of days after which a report has been published that a reminder email is sent, the timescale between reminders and how many reminders you want to send.

 

It also allows you to determine who gets copied into these messages – Partner, Adviser, Administrator.

 

Once you have set the necessary reminders simply select Apply to confirm these changes.
