Where possible, Fastrak will merge all client investments into one client account, however, sometimes, Fastrak just isn't provided enough information to know that two clients are actually one person. For example a client could have investments imported from Transact and the back office system, but there isn't enough unique information provided, such as, National Insurance Number to identify them as one individual.
This can be easily resolved by merging the client accounts in Fastrak using the Client Account Dashboard.
1. Using the Search Client Accounts box at the right of the main Fastrak screen, enter part of the clients name
2. Select the first instance of the client from the list returned and the Client Account Dashboard will be displayed
3. In the Account Summary section of the dashboard you will see an option Merge another account into this one... Enter the name of the client into the Search for account to merge box and select the second instance of the client
4. Once you have both instances of the Client appearing in the Account Summary Widget simply drag one entry onto the other. You will be prompted to confirm the merging of the accounts
